National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme e-Learning

In July 2021, Dr Hannah Wright, Clinical Fellow at the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) led a webinar titled ‘Awareness and Engagement with National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme Among Trainee Doctors’.

Watch a recording of the webinar below:

Following on from these webinar discussions, HQIP have launched a new online course titled: ‘How do we know we are doing a good job?’.

The e-Learning package comprises two modules, covering topics such as how to find National Clinical Audits, how to prioritise topics, accessing data and much more. The course is now accessible via the HQIP website, as well as the HEE East of England Leadership Ladder.

In addition to the course, HQIP have also launched a new resources for trainee doctors webpage. On the webpage, trainee doctors across all specialties will find useful resources and practical tools to help them carry out clinical audits or QI projects in their own local clinical settings, including a ‘Top Tips’ document explaining how they can get involved with National Clinical Audits.

Case examples

HQIP are interested in hearing about your quality improvement work. If you would like to put your work forward as a case study, please fill out their case study submission form. All case studies will be reviewed and shared on the HQIP website and via their newsletters and communications channels to facilitate sharing best practice across healthcare.
